I cannot ever remember a time when pictures were not in my life. As a child, I would spend hours looking at my father albums, mesmerized with the way he captured the lives and stories of the people around him. I always wondered why he never became a photographer because he had such a gift at making each picture worth a thousand words. Almost 40 years later, after taking countless pictures I realized that I shared the same passion as my father. However something was missing with the pictures I was taking. Then the most amazing thing happened. My camera got stolen and my husband had the foresight to buy me a Canon EOS Rebel XS. Although it is people and not cameras that take pictures, with the right tool in my hands I am able to share with the world how I see life and the people around me. I now shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II and the results are even better. I want every mother, father, sister, uncle and best friend to be able to have their and their family’s most precious moments captured in the most beautiful way possible. This was my father’s greatest gift to me and thank you for allowing me to share it with you. Enjoy!!!
